Greetings adventurers! Welcome to our digital debut. I’m excited to say whilst we have been working offline taking groups walking and climbing, we were thrilled to receive grant funding from the Welsh Council for Voluntary Action to embrace digital. Big thanks and appreciation to Nathan at Rowe & Bear who has designed this fantastic site and our awesome logo featuring the Welsh Mountain Goat.
If you’re anything like us, you’ve probably spent more time than you’d care to admit this winter scrolling through travel blogs, guidebooks, and Instagram reels, dreaming and planning sunny adventures in Eryri (Snowdonia) this summer. Well, friends, the wait is over.
Penybryn Outdoor Learning CIC are here to make your dream a reality, whether it’s a sunset Yr Wyddfa trek or taking a couple of days out of the rat race to experience some of the best single-pitch climbing in the country. When you experience adventure with us, someone less fortunate can get the buzz too, as we are a not-for-profit social enterprise that breaks down barriers to adventure. Check out Michael Sheen explaining how it all works –
When you book an adventure with us, we are then able to offer a free adventure to someone in North Wales who would benefit, through one of our charity partners. You will be able to choose which charity receives your free place too.
If you’re not able to join us, don’t worry, you can help by donating to our crowdfunder, which aims to provide free access to Duke of Edinburgh expeditions to pupils at secondary schools in North Wales, to whom the cost would be prohibitive.
Please take a look around, and consider us when booking your summer adventures.
Catch you on the trails,
Rachael
