Free guided walk series: Llwybr Llechi Eryri | Snowdonia Slate Trail

They’re here!

Discover the perfect blend of wellness and exploration with our new series of free guided walks, which we’re offering in collaboration with the charity Wellness Walks. Our aim is to highlight the advantages of walking and talking, all while immersing ourselves in the serene beauty of Snowdonia. These walks will offer a unique opportunity to rejuvenate body and mind, connecting with nature, each other, and local history whilst we’re at it.

The Snowdonia Slate Trail, a unique 83-mile circular walking trail that is divided into 13 sections, each with its own charm, is a must for nature and history enthusiasts alike. A testament to the region’s rich slate mining heritage, the trail meanders through Snowdonia’s breathtaking landscapes, a glimpse into the area’s natural beauty and historical significance.

These free walks, guided by Rachael, a qualified Lowland Leader, are designed to be accessible for those new to walking. Whether you want to improve your fitness, meet new people, explore somewhere new, or enjoy the tranquillity of the outdoors, these walks are the perfect way to get out and about.

To find out more, follow our social media for details of when each walk will take place. The first section, from Bangor to Bethesda, which is 10km/6 miles, is taking place on Sunday 23rd June, setting out at 10am.

Registration is essential, so please click here to book.
